I’m not even going to fluff this review. I am so bored of bland condoms. I have been doing a rush of condom reviews and so many of the condoms I've reviewed have been just so-so. The Durex Intense Sensation condom is not different. It’s basically the same as the Durex High Sensation condom, and the Durex Enhanced Pleasure condom but it has studs on the inside (visualize a sarcastic eye roll). I’m not sure why they would choose to put the studs on the inside, it’s not as if the condom should be moving on the penis or else you risk it slipping off. If the studs are a clever ruse to increase the condom’s grip on the penis, then bravo. However, I believe they were a shoddy attempt to create the “intense sensation” that their name claims and in that attempt that have failed.
During use, the condom didn’t get in the way as much as the Durex High Sensation condoms. However, they were nowhere near as fun as the Durex Enhanced Pleasure condoms. The 7.5 inch long and 1.5 inch in diameter condom’s fit was comfortable, but it may be uncomfortable for men whose penis’s girth is more than 2 inches. If your penis is longer than 7.5 inches you may be at an increased risk of contracting STIs that are transmitted through genital skin contact.
Just like the Durex Intense Sensation condom’s performance, the price is just average, $6 for a 12 pack.
Bottom Line: Extremely average but that may not be a bad thing.
Note: After doing some research, I found out that these condoms are supposed to be studded outwardly. I, apparently, got a bad batch with the studding on the inside. Regardles, it does not change my review.
