Sex toys are generally a yes or no kind of product. You either like a toy or find it more boring that a rabbit with dead batteries. Somehow Metal Worx Luv Plug by Pipedream has found a way to fall into limbo. But if you've got the right circumstances, this bad boy might be just the thing.

The Metal Worx Luv Plug is a stainless steel ergonomic butt plug. It’s 4 1/2” long, 1 ¼” wide and weighs in at a hefty 10oz. While on its face the weight may seem cumbersome, it’s actually one of its biggest benefits.

As a person who is not super adept at anal play, I found the size of the Luv Plug to be remarkably small. Both the girth and length seemed to be just too small to be great. But its heft and incredibly ergonomic design becomes much, much, much more useful in the hands of a partner. If you’re especially dexterous you might be able to make it work too.

Let’s talk about the design for a bit. This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful sex toys I’ve ever held. The finish is mirror smooth; the curves are soft and purposeful. The weighty material feels premium and substantial in your hand.

It comes packed in a metal box with a clasp closure and custom molded insert. All of these premium features make its $54.99 price tag (at sponsor EdenFantasys.com) seem underpriced.

When in use, the small size is very comfortable. It is capable of hitting the prostate but needs a helping hand. Unfortunately, that means you have to interact with its biggest drawback.

The handle sucks. Its oval shape is comfortable but the hole is a bit small and they made the incomprehensible decision to put a single faux-diamond at the bottom. I like to pretend it doesn’t exist but I thought I should share.

One thing I love more than I thought I would is the stainless steel. In general, I like to stick with pure silicone toys because they’re cheap, easy to clean and body safe. Stainless steel is all of that but it also can be used with silicone lube and has great temperature retention. Both warm and cold temperatures felt great. Try using it in water.

Overall the Metal Worx Luv Plug is still confusing. Part yay, part meh, part WTF, it’s a mess of ideas. But in the right situation, this bad bitch will make you purr.
