Liquid Silk Review - Creamy, Slick, Sexpert Approved
Lube is wonderful for a great may things but not all lube is actually great. Having tried a slew of lubes in my life, Liquid Silk by Bodywise Limited is definitely one of the best. That being said, my favorite feature is one that may not be appreciated by everyone. Regardless, it’s the best and most versatile lube we’ve ever used and would be remiss if we didn’t award it the Sexpert Approved seal.

The first thing I noticed when picking up the bottle is just how much lube you get for the price. Sliquid’s Sassy Booty Formula rings in at $3.09/oz but Liquid Silk is a lot cheaper at $2.12/oz., that’s nearly a dollar difference per ounce.
The second thing I noticed was – outside of the bottle – it looks exactly like semen. Yes, I know Jergen’s tends to resemble cum but this is a bit different. If you squirted it anywhere, you would never guess that it was anything but farm-fresh, milky-white cum. This is going to be a divisive feature for some people but I rather enjoyed it.
It not only looks like semen but feels like semen. This will be less of a divisive feature because holy fuck. I’m not sure how they managed to capture that uniquely viscous and incredibly slick feeling of fresh semen but they matched it very closely. It stays super slippery for a very long time, even in open air. Even just a little dab rubbed between my thumb and forefinger lasted a minute and half (Sliquid Sassy Booty only lasted about 45 seconds). When it dries, it’s 100% non-sticky; actually, it leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft.
I used it for jerking off, in my Fleshlight and some anal stuff. I found it to be useful and effective for both. I usually hate water-based lubes for jerking off but I think I’ll be using it again.
I love that the bottle has a pump instead of a flip top. It’s much easier to use one handed, it’s also much more sanitary.
Turn offs
It’s very easy to over apply. The pumps are a little bit bigger than they need to be.
It’s not paraben free. If you don’t care about corn syrup or phthalates, this is not a big deal. But if you have a family history of breast cancer or are a smoker, I would stay away from them.
Bottom Line
Liquid Silk is simply an awesome lube. In fact, it’s the single best water-based lube we’ve ever tried. If the semen-esque appearance doesn’t bother you, I you won’t do much better.
