Manbound Bondage Bar changed my sex life
Bottom line: Manbound's Bondage Bar is incredibly well made, priced right, but most importantly, helps make my sex hotter and more comfortable. It integrated into my toy box easily and has a versatility that allows the imagination to run wild. It's definitely worth a look.

Figuring out how to do bondage on a budget is really difficult. So, I always love a toy that will allow me to experience it in a normal apartment situation. Manbound Bondage Bar by Sportsheets is one such toy and it's way more useful than I ever thought it would be.
Essentially, the device is just a slightly flexible rod covered in fabric with four attached cuffs for hands and feet. Still, it's a brilliant little thing that allows for a hogtie style bondage with the bottom standing, squatting or lying down. It makes the wearer's body into a sex toy, presenting their various holes like a deluxe human fleshlight.
Ergonomically, it's kind of amazing. With the wearer on the back, you can rock them on your dick using your arms or help balance for some face fucking. I got a kink in my back and messed my knee up in 9th grade, so this kind of leverage is a game changer in my bedroom.
I also love being able to pick my guy up using the restraint to get him into position. My pup is a solid 200+lbs and I've yet to hear or see any signs of wear from this, which really speaks to the durability of Manbound's Bondage Bar. Considering the $45 price, I'm actually quite surprised by how durable it is.
Both of the underbed restraints I had ended up having weak metal connectors that broke quickly. The synthetic all-fabric outer shell on Manbound's Bondage Bar seems to be free of that fatal flaw. Actually, the outer two cuffs are integrated directly into the main body and the inner two are attached by 3 rows of stitching with some incredibly strong synthetic thread. Even when I tugged with the intent of destruction, it stayed 100% intact.
Since the majority of any restraint's value is in its ability to actually restrain, durability is important. It's also important that the subject can't just wiggle out by accident. As long as the cuffs' are closed firmly they aren't going anywhere, but if they're loosened the velcro can easily be undone, which is important for safety, too.
Because the design of this unit is so thin and simple, it works well in addition to the remaining parts of those aforementioned underbed systems. Although, of the stuff i already own, they pair best with the over the door restraints I reviewed last year. I really do love how versatile Manbound's Bondage Bar is; it makes my entire toy box more useful and there are very few toys in my collection that can claim that.
When I first picked out the Bondage Bar, I was concerned my pup might not be flexible enough to be comfy. He wasn't, but after repeat play sessions, the bar actually ended up helping him gain flexibility quicker than before. Even when his hamstrings were still tough as jerky, being able to simply roll and angle his whole body really helped a ton. Now that he is more flexible, we are getting even more out of it.
Although, Manbound's Bondage Bar is pretty great, I would like to some extra padding on the cuff themselves. My pup usually has red marks around his wrists after use. He likes the dull pain, but not everyone will. It's less of a problem if you're flexible or loosen the cuffs, but adding some satin-like fabric and foam padding to the wrist cuffs would edge it nearer to perfect for me.
